Some of you may remember me talking about this in previous postings, but it might be new to others. Whenever I get restless and cannot sleep during the night, I have started getting up and going to read my Bible or pray. I keep thinking that God is calling me to spend time with Him…and who am I to decline! Today was my first day back to work, so I was especially antsy last night and couldn’t sleep. When I read my devotions, I found the following blessing that applies to all of us at the start of a new year. May you consider this as your comfort as you face what lies ahead of you.
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
–Numbers 6:24-26
I want to also thank a certain reader of my blog who has become one of our angels. This person drives by the house often, and he took his personal time to drag the fallen tree limbs away from the front of the house we’re selling. We knew that the limbs were probably down, but we hadn’t had a chance to get up there and work on cleaning them up. Thanks for this pesonal blessing of your time and consideration.
Sandy
Sandy,
I am so sad to learn of all the struggles you have had these last several years, but so happy that you are strong in your faith! I have enjoyed reading your blog; thank you for sharing your experiences and blessing countless people along the way. While growing up with you, I only remember how smart, sweet, and good you always were. You still are!
Love, Kelly

I pray for your every day, morning and night, that God will bless you and your family and specifically that you will experience freedom from pain and nausea very day. Also that you will be blessed with an added measure of strength. Most of all that you will feel His everlasting peace cover you like a warm and cozy blanket.
