It’s a blessed New Year! When I had the brain tumor in July of 2006, my doctor told us that I could expect to survive 6 months to 1 1/2 years. Well, guess what, this month is the time that he predicted I’d be gone, but I’m actually feeling great!
I start my second round of chemo next week, which Dr. Aggarwal already set up. After the third round (end of February) we’ll have another scan to look at the progress I’ve made on this chemo. I think I’ll also be able to return to work next week after my treatment. I’ve enjoyed being home and needed the rest, but I’m really ready to return at least at four days per week. I’ll also be starting my last two graduate classes this month so I can finish my degree in May. Yippee!
I hope you remember to give thanks for every day that you have with your family and friends in this new year. Thanks for your never-failing support and encouragement.
