Thanks for your prayers for the presentation that I gave. My talk was a combination of my personal testimony about living with cancer, but I also focused on encouraging the women in the audience to write letters and/or journals for their children to keep as a legacy of their mothers. The talk was emotional and very personal, and I got an overwhelming response from the ladies at the banquet. Many of them told me that they “really needed to hear” what I said that night. I believe God gave me the message that I spoke, and I hope we all consider what type of legacy we’ll leave for our children.
I’m still having weekly Herceptin treatments with Dr. Aggarwal, and they are going well. I see her again this Wednesday and have a treatment. I had a hive-type of reaction about two weeks ago and itched like crazy for several days. After trying a steroid to calm the itching, Dr. Aggarwal thought I was having a reaction to the Codeine in my Vicodin. So, she stopped the Vicodin and switched it to something without Codeine. I’ve felt better (no itching) ever since.
It’s my prayer that you’ll have a wonderful holiday, and that you think about the memories and stories you’re creating for generations to come. May God richly bless you so you can bless others.
Sandy

Dear Sandy:
It has been a while since I have been on your Web site, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that things are staying pretty even for you!
I had to laugh when I thought about YOU being intimidated speaking to 170 women! You were always great at that, Sandy. However, I think it was more of getting your point across in a way that made them listen.
I believe God is using you for His purpose, Sandy, and that He will continue to do so for quite some time. There are certainly a lot of hurting people out there and if you can bring peace to one person during any one presentation, you have made a difference in someone’s (and probably those who know them) life!
I wish you the peace and joy of the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. At our home, We Say Merry Christmas! The poor souls who don’t understand the true meaning of this important time in the church year!
May you continue your peaceful journey and faith in Jesus Christ. Only He has the full control over each of us.
God Bless You, Sandy!
Marjorie
