Mark and received wonderful news from Dr. Lee today. My brain MRI was completely clear, and he has released me from his care! I think he was shocked that I’ve had such a great response to the treatment, and he was very happy for us.
He also said my other MRI scans that I had last week looked very good, but there were a few minor problems that Dr. Aggarwal may want to follow. There is a very small spot on my liver and some kind of bone spur under my right arm in the area where I had the lumpectomy. We meet with Dr. Aggarwal next week, so we’ll get more information from her. I’ve learned not to ask a doctor questions about an area outside of his/her specialty. It makes them either very nervous or agitated.
Mark and I celebrated this great news with breakfast at Bob Evans, and then we both went to work. This weekend, we get to extend the celebration in Indianapolis! We’re attending the Do it Best Market (for the hardware store) and staying Saturday and Sunday night. We’ve got special plans for dinner at St. Elmo’s on Sunday night, so we’ll have a great time. For the first time, we’re also having Nick and Whitney come down on Saturday and Sunday to see the show. Whitney has become a pretty valuable person in the store, and we think it will be fun to share the excitement of the show with her. The other two girls will be at Grandma’s house.

What WONDERFUL news!!!!! I am so happy for you. What a miracle from God!!!! I was just speaking to someone today about you and what Grace you have had through all of this.
